A Chinese construction company vowed to build the world’s tallest building, named Sky City, in just 90 days with an astounding height of 2,749 feet, edging out the mega Burj Khalifa, which is currently the world’s tallest building that stands 2,722 feet over Dubai.

Reports said, the Chinese construction company behind the project was behind the schedule, but Broad Sustainable Building insisted that they will deliver its 220-story building within the targeted 90 days goal, rather than in 210 days as rumored in the media.

“Will go on as planned with the completion of five storeys a day.” Broad Group senior VP Juliet Jiang was quoted saying in a report.
The 220-story building once completed will contain a hospital, school, 17 helipads and apartments to house 31,400 people. It will be constructed using 200,000 tonnes of steel, and serviced by 104 high-speed lifts, according to reports.

The foundation work of the 220-story building is expected to start at the end of this month after the Chinese government approves the project, while the planned three month construction period runs from the end of the year to the end of March 2013.

My private jet story, by Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

By SAM EYOBOKA &  JOSEPH ERUNKE
The birthday gift of a private jet presented by a member of Word of Life Bible Church, Warri  and chairman of the committee of the procurement of the jet, Kevin Nwachukwu, to  Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor, the head of  the church and the national president of Christian Association of Nigeria, on Saturday, November 10,  has generated a lot of controversy. In this interview, Oritsejafor tells the story of how the jet was acquired.

There is a huge gap between spirituality and actual faith in God. There is the belief that the love of money has taken over Christendom, rather than  the preaching of  undiluted gospel of salvation. Why do you think there is a shift towards prosperity?

First of all, as somebody who has preached the gospel for 40 years, I know that the gospel is a total package—it is for the spirit, mind and body. What has happened through the years is that in every dispensation, there is emphasis that becomes stronger than the others and such emphasis does not reduce the format but add to the format.

For example, Martin Luther was the one who searched the scripture to see how the Word of God could change the human being. But as time went on, we started seeing the Baptists. The reason why we call them Baptists is because the founder laid a lot of emphasis on water baptism; that is why today they are being called Baptists, not because they don’t believe that you need to accept Christ and be saved and go to heaven. What happened was that the founder had a revelation and a very deep understanding and conviction in the area of water baptism and he emphasized that.

Again, today, when you give your life to Christ, there is a big emphasis on salvation; that is accepting Christ and walking in the knowledge of Christ. Now, the revelation is progressing; as that went on, there are people who through inspiration and the study of the Word  have more understanding in the area of prosperity and so started emphasizing on prosperity.
The problem is that there are those who preach and their whole understanding is in the area of prosperity. I think that is not good. I believe there should be a balance. I don’t believe you should not preach prosperity, but I don’t think you should preach prosperity and neglect the preaching of salvation, because we are still going to heaven at the end of everything.

This world cannot be a permanent place. If you live very long, according to scripture, probably you will live for 120 years but, at the end of the day, you will still die and go, so where are you going? So it is important to emphasize on salvation, knowing Christ and going to heaven.

Now, what will eventually happen is that, with time, these things will level out and those who place   emphasis on prosperity will realize that prosperity cannot be the main thing. The main thing must still be holy living and going to heaven. So this is basically what is going to happen.

I will say what I have always said that we must emphasize on the area of living for God. That is why Nigeria has problem today. People who go to church, especially those who, one way or the other, are privileged to be in certain positions, forget the basic thing of God, which is the fear of God and all they want is money, they forget about really serving God.

They don’t take God to their work place, they don’t bring God to the positions where God has put them, but I believe that, eventually, these things will level out and the right thing will take its place.

Oritsejafor and wife
For 40 years, you have been in the pulpit preaching the gospel of God, during which there have been miracles, touching lives and all that. But there are certain things that some people don’t know about you and this has to do with your calling. How did you get the divine call?

Every Man Wants A Baby With Me, Says 17-Year-Old Girl Who Began Posing Nude At 10

A controversial 17-year-old music fanatic, who admits to flirting with most Urban Grooves artistes, has denied links with an evil society known as Illuminati – a suspected source of riches for some international artists.
Rosemary Shuro – better known in the music circle as Rose Barbie – is also battling allegations that she is having sex with local urban groove artistes just to become famous. Rosemary has become a celebrity since her naught pictures leaked.

Also leaked are loads of chat messages between her and a long list of Urban Groovers including, Abra Simmz, Nox, Freeman, Dr Clarence, Jimmy (Extra Large), King Labash, King Shaddy, Madiz, Russo, Shastro, Stunner, Trinta, just to mention a few.

When contacted by our news crew, Rosemary refused to discuss her alleged Illuminati links saying that is none of anyone’s business. Interestingly, there are some pictures in which she was displaying some of the symbols that are associated with the Illuminati society. She was not willing to talk about the alleged evil links but rather opted to discuss on ‘flirting’ with artistes.

“If you want to ask me about the Illuminati stuff then I’m not going to talk to you. Stop asking me about that. It’s my personal business,” she fumed. “I’m also an artist and just like posing nude showing off my ass and flirting with artistes and I don’t sleep with them and Victor D is my only boyfriend,” added Rosemary.
She claims to be a Hip-Hop artist, who grew up in Masvingo where she did her primary education at Rujeko Primary School. Rosemary went to Ndarama High School for her Form One. She was expelled for misbehaving and then she left for South Africa.

“I started posing nude and getting interested in music when I was 10 years old. I have two personalities – Rosemary Shuro who is the innocent girl and Rose Barbie who is reborn, crazy and fearless. Now seems like every guy wants to have a baby with me,” she said.

With her naughty pictures flooding the social networks, Rosemary is happy that her father is not on the social networks. “I don’t have a mother and my dad doesn’t know what I do since he is not familiar with the social networks,” she said.

Four South Africans Arrested For Beating Zimbabwean To Death

Tensions are rising between Zimbabweans and locals in Zandspruit. A Zimbabwean was murdered three weeks ago in the squatter camp north of Joburg.
Now four men have been bust for the killing. Yesterday Zimbabweans living there contacted the People’s Paper to tell us: We are living in fear. We don’t feel safe anymore!

At the same time, locals told us: “We want these people to leave our country. The area has in the past been notorious for friction between the two groups. The horrific killing on 30 October was revealed by Daily Sun on Tuesday. We reported that a group of men hunting for a Zimbabwean man they accused of being a criminal had set his brother alight instead – and then abused the body.

Honeydew police spokeswoman Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs said: “The four men we arrested are members of the South African National Civic Organisation. We are planning to make more arrests. It does not matter if someone belongs to a political party or an organisation, murder is murder and we will act,” said Jacobs.

Yesterday our news crew visited the squatter camp to meet some of the Zimbabweans. None wished to be identified. A 29-year-old man told us: “I no longer feel safe here. I feel that I could die any time. I came here for a better life, and I do piece jobs like gardening. Police don’t protect us. They only come when they are called by the councillor. We get attacked at night by South Africans. They don’t want us here.”
Another Zimbabwean said: “On Wednesday night, about 9am, I heard the sound of people screaming and marching. I was scared to go outside for fear of getting attacked. I only came here six months ago, but I have experienced lots of ill-treatment from my brothers in South Africa. Life in Zim is bad and I came here to be with my fellow Africans.”

Daily Sun asked locals about the marching and shouting. One man at a car wash confirmed it. He said: “Last night we marched and burnt tyres as a protest. We want these people to leave our country.”

Senzo Ndaba was prepared to give us his name. He said they treated Zimbabweans like their own brothers and sisters but said: “They steal from us… We as the community are very angry because these Zimbabweans are killing our people and also robbing them. We are not free in our own land because of them,” said Ndaba.
A man who only wanted to be known as Modise said he was about to close his spaza on the main road on Wednesday when he was told to shut the shop and join the protest. “I was told to join the protest to have Zimbabweans removed from the area and I did. This is nothing new. This has been going on for years. We want the foreigners out of our area,” said another man who didn’t want to be named.
